Normalize shaming and making people feel uncomfortable. Your married brother brings his side piece to the bbq, say something. Your homie isn’t taking care of his kids, cut them off. We can’t be enabling such poor behaviour. Holding people accountable begins with relationship.
"single mother", "fatherless", and "daddy issues" are all examples of a man's failure, and yet they are almost exclusively used as insults towards women. please make it make sense!
I’m increasingly convinced that the willingness to change your mind is the ultimate sign of intelligence. The most impressive people I know change their minds often in response to new information. It’s like a software update. The goal isn't to be right. It's to find the truth.
I saw a girl say "If she has to ask for flowers she doesn't want them anymore" but that really goes for everything wether it be love, attention or appreciation, be it's no longer coming from you it's coming from me
I think the purest form of love is just wanting someone to notice life with you. "taste this. look at that. hear this song." again and again. until you can't imagine noticing life without them.
Consideration.
If you really love someone, you consider them. You think before you speak, and you move with an awareness of how your actions affect their peace. You care about what makes them feel safe, not just what makes you feel good. If you truly love them, you think about how your actions will affect them.
i never craved for peace like i do now. i don't wanna wake up angry, upset, or have any negative thoughts. i just want to be happy, and have peace with everything
Many things I am willing to put up with. Ungratefulness is not one of them.
Ungratefulness is a spiritual disease that births selfishness, inconsideration, greed, unkindness… a person incapable of gratitude is a person incapable of love. A person incapable of love is evil.
