Q&A with English subtitles

#FayePeraya #ฝ้ายพีรญา

[Juth Vadhanapanich 🇹🇭 @juth]

I will translate only the parts where Faye was speaking. I will not translate the parts spoken by Pin or the reporters’ Q&A, because I couldn’t hear them clearly. Pin’s microphone and the reporters’ voices were not audible.

Faye refers to the other person as น้อง “Nong” and เขา “Khao (she)” without mentioning a specific name.
Therefore, whenever she says “น้อง,” I will translate it as Nong, and whenever she says “เขา,” I will translate it as she.

🔸Faye’s Statement

Faye: First of all, good afternoon to all the seniors and members of the media. The matter I’m about to talk about today has been ongoing for a while now, and it has affected my work and the people around me. Today, I’d like to share my side of the story. I must admit that I was emotionally shattered, completely broken, to be honest, but I am finally ready to speak now because I have become stronger.

🔸About Work

Looking back, I can say with confidence that I have always given my best and been sincere in my work with my former company. The partners I worked with were professional and supportive. We were always able to talk things through whenever problems arose. Everything went smoothly, and we never had any issues.

I truly believed we were good partners all along. Whatever happened, we always held hands and worked together.

🔸About the Relationship

Since we joined the same company, though I joined first, I can honestly say we were like "PhiNong" (พี่น้อง).

The feelings I had for Nong were genuine; she was an adorable and important person to me. There was never a day that I felt we couldn’t talk if something went wrong. Of course, sometimes we misunderstood each other or got a little upset, but those moments never affected our work, not even once.

That is, until February.
Before Valentine’s Day, we talked about where to have dinner, whether we should bring our dogs, and which restaurants allow dogs, so we could make plans. I still don’t understand what happened. On February 9, I texted her, asking if she had decided on a restaurant.
Since that day, she hasn’t read my messages. She hasn’t replied once. I truly don’t know what happened.
Before that, we were still updating each other about our daily lives, rehearsals, meals, everything. So what changed before Valentine’s Day? I really don’t know.

🔸About “4E”

This is something many fans have been wondering about, and so have I.

I was never informed whether I would be cast or not. Fans started speculating because of emojis, sunflowers, and bubbles, and they could probably guess what it meant.

I only knew as much as everyone else did. I wasn’t part of any discussions between the company and the seniors.

One of the seniors called and asked, “Why aren’t you joining the project?”

I replied, “No, that’s not true, I really want to join.”

They told me, “It’s okay. There will be another opportunity for us to work together.”

Another senior also called and asked, “Did you two fight so badly that you can’t work together anymore? Was the whole production canceled because of that?”

And I can say clearly that was never the case. We never had a problem that stopped us from working.
I always complimented Nong for her talent. However, as for the reason why it is this way, I honestly don’t know.

What I can confirm is that I really wanted to be part of 4E.

🔸Phone Call with P’Took (4E)

Faye: Today, with the kindness of the senior from the team behind 4E, I will make a phone call to speak with her.

Faye: Hello, P’Took.
We’re in the middle of a press conference right now. Could you please help clarify this issue? I want everyone to hear it directly from you.

P’Took: What would you like me to talk about?

Faye: About 4E, whether it’s true that I didn’t want to take part.

P’Took: Of course. I’d be happy to. It’s now 2:00 PM on November 9.

Greetings to everyone who’s here to listen to Faye.
When I decided to invest in 4Elements, I intended for you to be in the project. However, the owner of Faye’s company later informed me that they wanted to withdraw her participation. The reason given was that they were concerned the two might not be able to work together smoothly and couldn’t take responsibility if any issues arose.

Reporter: But the other side said they were never contacted about the project.

P’Took: Wouldn’t it be strange to withdraw from something you were never invited to? If they requested to withdraw, that means there must have been an invitation in the first place.

P’Took: Faye, I wish you all the best.

Faye: As everyone now knows, I found out at the same time as the public did. But I never once said I didn’t want to be in the project. I’ve always wanted to. When the news came out that one pair had withdrawn, I hoped it wouldn’t be us. I always held on to the hope that I would be part of the project.

🔸About “Breaking the Pair”

This topic has caused a lot of misunderstanding.
Let me explain what really happened.

One day before our fan meeting in Thailand, the company arranged for me, Nong, and the company owner to meet with a psychiatrist.

The question they asked was:
“Faye and Nong, can you imagine yourselves working separately if the pair were to be split?”

That was the question I was given.

I replied, “As an actress, my job is to act. If I need to play a rock, I’ll be a rock. I can do it.”

After that, they asked me to see the psychiatrist again, but I refused. Because the first time, right before our fan meeting, it didn’t make me feel good at all.

I needed all my strength then, so many fans were waiting for us. I had to stay strong.

But I didn’t go back again, because it really hurt me emotionally.

People misunderstood, thinking I wanted to split the pair or abandon Nong. That was never my intention.
We only had one project together, and we even received an award as a duo. So why was the “split” blamed on me? Didn’t the company know about this? Why did the impact fall solely on me? That’s something I really want to ask.

🔸About Contract Termination

Now, regarding why I left the company, this has been a big question.

It began when the company called me in to discuss changing my contract from the old version to a new one.

They said, “Please read and sign it today.”

I replied that contracts are sensitive and important, so I needed time to read it carefully.

Later, I reviewed it, made some edits, and sent it back.
I said, “Honestly, the old contract is fairer.”

They said, “Okay, then we’ll keep the old one.”

But there was never any talk about future plans, nothing about what’s next.

To me, everything felt dark and uncertain.
The only path I could see was my own.
We never discussed any plans, even though I asked several times; I never got an answer.

That’s why I decided to end my contract.
This career is my life. But if there’s no future, then there’s no happiness. Waking up every day without a goal is not living.

So the only way forward was to walk my own path.

I never intended to leave anyone behind, and I never planned this.

But after leaving, I was completely devastated.
Still, I received so much support from people inside and outside the industry, and especially from my fans.
That strength helped me heal.

Everything people have misunderstood. I hope they can now hear from my side. I never wanted to hurt anyone.

That’s why I decided to end the contract.
Even on the day I left, I still had good feelings.
She once said to me, “If one day you do well, I’ll be happy for you.” So we parted on good terms, and I choose to remember only the good things.

We’re like PhiNong in the entertainment industry.
I never meant to harm anyone. I’ll just keep focusing on my work, creating good projects for my fans.

My fans are my only motivation.
Without them, I wouldn’t be standing here today.
Finally, I want to thank all the fans and senior figures who have always supported me and given me opportunities.

From now on, if I see or receive any message that defames me or damages my reputation and affects my work, I will take legal action to the fullest extent, with no compromise.

Thank you very much for listening.
