I get more shade for being team #Messi than I do for being #ProChoice because Twitter // other random interests: romance novels, horse racing, cookies

@yoboi96735032 My desire for rapists to be punished regardless of net worth or fame is in no way associated with being a Messi fan. But I constantly find that being a misogynistic rape apologist correlates directly with being a Ronaldo fan.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

Actually, are we sure that wasn’t a holographic fan to go with the fake crowd noise?

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

How....?

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

They should update the rule: If it takes longer than 45 seconds to make a VAR decision, the call on the field stands.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I even missed Phil. I’m so glad La Liga is back!

It's MESSI TIME once again!! 🌟🐐

@CBSDFW “Chaotic” is definitely a better descriptor than “violent.” Thank you.

***JUST IN***

Fort Worth City Council has decided to not extend a nightly curfew.

It was in place for 72 hours from 8pm to 6am originally.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

@AmberShumake That’s what I’ve gathered, although I missed part of the live stream.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

I’m back on this account because this shit is important. I’m waiting outside my City Hall to speak at City Council.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

Oh, also Pep outmanaged Zidane in that second half.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

The biggest takeaway for me after catching up on today’s matches:

WTF is that thing on top of Ronaldo’s head?

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

“I have 6 Ballon d’Or trophies, motherfuckers.”

[barcacentre @barcacentre]

Messi: "It's true I score less now, I try to come into play, I try to create superiority in the middle, to have more of the ball. It's true I missed some chances, but hey, it's something that doesn't worry me."

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

This match in particular brings home how badly the board is steering this team. We could have brought Cucarella back, instead he’s out there wreaking havoc for Getafe. We could have bought a young striker, we got another midfielder. Make it make sense.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

This #BetisBarça match was poorly officiated. If Sanchez hadn’t made such bad calls early on, he might not have felt like he had to start handing out cards like candy and we might have had a better match that I actually cared to watch for the last 10 minutes.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

Why didn’t Jordi start? I legit thought I’d missed that he was suspended or injured. Completely different match since he and Arthur came on.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

I’m only 12 minutes into this Betis/Barça match (I’m so so late) and I’ve counted 3 questionable calls by this official. Cool.

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

Sounds great but WE STILL NEED A STRIKER

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

FFS another midfielder

[FC Barcelona @FCBarcelona]

Agreement with @Palmeiras for the transfer of @_matheusf
He will join the club in July 2020

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

They could literally get up and say, “Yeah, it’s all true, he did it, so what?” And McConnell’s Senate will still protect him.

President Trump’s defense team ended its first day of arguments after just two hours. The trial will resume on Monday. https://t.co/apg4DT15qD

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

We’ve needed a backup/heir apparent striker for years but @jmbartomeu and the board keep insisting their poor managers make do with super expensive wingers and midfielders. Everyone is “manager out” all the time but Bartomeu is apparently blameless?

[Hannah Ruth @ittybear811]

@GaryLineker Oh, Gary.
