@torokszabolcs12@MGSMGN@HEITAIs I highly doubt the remake will preserve all that. You know how weird it will be playing an Xbox copy with snake and oticon talking about a PlayStation 3 Blu-ray drive ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
@torokszabolcs12@MGSMGN@HEITAIs Forget the bugs you know it won't be a one for one copy. Kojima made that game explicitly for that hardware (six axis) and had a ton of IP licensing. Apple, Triumph, Playboy etc. Plus the codec calls ok the hardware.
@torokszabolcs12@MGSMGN@HEITAIs That's what I was telling you. It's probably way easier now. You probably don't have to go through everything I had to go through in 2020. Probably don't even need the crazy CPU requirements anymore. Look it up. The RPCS3 devs are always putting in the work.
@torokszabolcs12@MGSMGN@HEITAIs Well easy for me. I work in IT and computers my whole life so it's little bias of me. Normal people not really easy. Back then the hardest part was finding the correct build of the emulator that works with the updated version of MGS4 that had trophy support.
@torokszabolcs12@MGSMGN@HEITAIs Yes it can if you work for a living and are as busy as me. If you want an exact answer 2-3 days. 2 different and separate weekends.
@MGSMGN@HEITAIs I ain't going to lie in the beginning. It was a buggy mess and would crash all the time & took me like a week to get it to run flawlessly. Would a normal user spent $3,500 & a week of their time to play mgs4 no. But a die hard MGS4 fan pissed off at Sony. You bet your ass!
@MGSMGN@HEITAIs I care about having full six axis support. To clear snakes camo suit during cutscenes and have the proper boss fight at the end with mantis with my PlayStation 3 controller. Again something I doubt you'll be able to do with the Xbox and steam versions of the remastered.
@MGSMGN@HEITAIs I don't care about 30FPS cutscenes because it's a movie anyway ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ I care about 4K\60 gameplay with better graphics with the same or better experience I had in 2008. That was the whole point of $3500 build in 2020 just for MGS4.
