If the answers are yes to those questions, then your business will surely benefit from having a website
but don't spend money on domain, hosting, development, and maintenance to create a website that your target customers don't care about
Ask yourself these questions:
• Do my target customers know how to use websites?
• Do they use Google Search before buying?
• Would having a website boost my credibility?
• How will having a website be better than my current system?
@Jesse_can_code no, how did they create the first high-level programming language back then?
that's more puzzling
some of us googled 5 times before centering a div, but those people created a programming language without google or AI?
what are we doing?
we've all heard about cold DMs and cold emails
and how effective they are, sometimes
but try using them to get your first 100 users and tell me how it went
@delveroin hilarious ain't it 😂🤣
but the thing is, you vibe coded an app, but you don't know why it works
and you can't change a thing
that's the reality of most vibe coders
i've been trying to message a specific set of organizations, sent 30 messages, only 5 replied, that's less than 20% of em
it's now i realized i was messaging the wrong people at these organizations 😅
let's refine and try again 💪🏽
nothing beats "doing the actual work" to figure how things actually work
let's take cold DMs for example, you've watched how easy people make it seem, until you send a message and they don't even open to read it
y'all should read @AlexBanayan's The Third Door, whether you are trynna start a business or get hired to work for someone
as someone who is just getting started, i'd just focus on it as the only book to learn from for now
i learned that in other countries there are communities for tech entrepreneurs where they meet and discuss, do we have such communities in Nigeria/Africa?
