My response? I won’t spend a single dollar there. No more Emirates flights, no visits, no business, nothing. This is the same government that forced late Arshad Sharif to leave their country in a hurry, which ultimately led to his murder in Kenya.
If you’re investing in the UAE or planning to move there, just know you’re giving up your intellectual freedom, the most valuable thing any person owns.
Now they’ve gone even lower by arresting two Pakistani social media activists who had nothing to do with UAE politics. Clearly, the UAE is now a willing tool for Pakistan’s illegal regime. It’s disgraceful.
