Text morphs are cursed due to how browsers render text and it looks worse when you render each frame to video 💀
I almost used a crossfade instead in Animotion until I learned that you can change how text is rendered 😌
so you can play WoW and prompt now w/ Hermes HUD mode
it's a seamless overlay where you can keep an eye on things or ask questions about a game during your session.

Something that doesn't get discussed often is how the UI on the Zune 30 from 2006 looked very different from the one in the 2.0 software.
It uses the same font as the Xbox 360 "Blades" UI, Convection. Rowland Brown designed Blades and both Zune 1.0 and 2.0 UIs.
Whenever I get depressed I treat myself to one singular peach Bellini and read on my kindle before going to see a random movie playing in the theatre. It’s helped a lot
Phthalo green (phthalocyanine PG7) is not very RETVRN friendly. It is too Warholian, has a post-modernist tint strength which is you may dislike (right).
If you want Home Alone warmth, go full 19th century with PG18, chromium(III) oxide. That is, the Viridian green (left).
I'm trying to contribute in my own small way to the 1.0 ethics and aesthetics, starting with my personal website and projects. I also plan to bring this approach to my studio, and eventually to the studio's clients who share the same vision. I'm starting small, as I always do.
I'm kind of iffy on "skills discourse" but I think I came up with one so good that its worth sharing. The basic ask is to "describe the UX of my application completely". In doing so, agents will discover inconsistencies, bugs, and design errors that have never come up before
this is how interactions should feel
dragging and resizing this picture-in-picture window feels super natural and intuitive
