As an immigrant, Indian, human, I find Nikki Haley’s words at the Walker rally extremely abhorrent. Indians in the US forget we were allowed to be successful to support systemic oppression of black communities. And we’ve been complicit in that project.

Participation is an act of courage, and more so for the post-lockdown college generation, the first-gen, returning, senior, and minoritized and marginalized students, and the introverts, and many many others.

@KushDepala Charani at its best! And perhaps the most difficult chhand to translate! You may have seen Karsan Sagathia’s rendition of the Gujarati poet Brahmanand Swami’s renaki chand for Coke Studio India. It’s incredible, as are other charani renditions.
