@Mary___Wilson congratulations on your years of service in public broadcasting. Always courteous and professional in your approach and fun too! Fondly remembering the early years when we crossed paths a lot .
@FedericaMog @collegeofeurope A wise decision and lucky to have her. Congratulations @FedericaMog Looking forward to working with you during your new mandate!
I am truly shocked by the untimely passing of John Mullins. We crossed paths in the early 90s when he was President of YFG and I was General Secretary of @FineGael . Even then he showed leadership skills that marked him out for a great future. Rest easy my friend.
A true gentleman and “political anorak” who has left us too soon. RIP.

A lovely story that many can relate to Cauvery. A measure of his humility and simplicity even when holding high office.
Spare a thought for the staffers and schedulers always trying to keep the election caravan on the road!!
Hoping you find that photo!
I was very lucky to see first hand what a very decent man #JohnBruton was. In 1997, we lived in Dunboyne & my parents were visiting from India. My father was watching RTE election news, when there was a knock on the door. It was John Bruton himself, canvassing. My father was shocked to see the Taoiseach at our door, but recovered enough to insist that he come in for a cup of tea. When I came down to the kitchen to see what was happening, I found my father chatting across the kitchen table with John Bruton!
Even though he knew it was a house without the right to vote, John Bruton still took the time to sit and talk to my father about politics & the state of the world. 10 minutes & several biscuits later he left, but not before my dad had me take a photograph. It was my father’s favourite Irish story. I must dig out that pic!
We mourn the passing of a great public servant and a devoted family man History will record his huge contribution to global politics. Rest gently my friend. We will miss you. https://t.co/1GVZV8ZOtO
