The Karur temple land issue needs one major clarification. Are these temple lands or not? If they are, they cannot be alienated to individuals to sell.

The age-old system was about temple lands being given to those working for the temple to enable them to either live there or farm and earn income off the land as long as they served the temple. Somewhat like Government quarters being allotted to you while you are in service. When you retire you hand over possession to the Govt. You cannot claim ownership of the said property nor can you sell it.

@trramesh Sir, kindly put out the evidence that these were originally temple lands. If these lands did not originally belong to the temple as the HR&CE Department claims, the Govt has every right to distribute land that belongs to it to whosoever it wishes to. If they were temple lands then they should not have been allowed to be transferred.

Govt stance is that these 471 pattas that have been removed from the no registration list are of land that did not belong to temples.

Bottom line is, were these 471 odd survey numbers earlier temple lands or not? That is the main question that needs an answer.

The unholy haste of the Collector, HR&CE Dept etc. all passing orders on the same day as alleged is per se suspicious but not illegal.

Hope we get a clear clarification from the Government.

In 3 decades of Govt Service, I have been assaulted around 15 times on duty, just like the drs in the video are. Every single time, I have given a complaint to the Dean,RMO & the local Inspector of Police in writing. How many goons hv been prosecuted- ZERO.

Why was this politician atleast arrested? Coz, the incident was caught on CCTV and the victim was both a female & Dalit Dr. Does anyone talk abt the male Dr, who was also assaulted? No.

Violence to settle things is the norm , rather than the exception in India- one of the most primitive/brutal societies in the world. Believe me, every single day there is an assault on a Tamilnadu Govt Dr, posted in this or that WhatsApp grp. How many r prosecuted? To my knowledge, none.
Once I was assaulted with bleeding injuries on duty at a local GH, walked up to the police outpost and with blood dripping from my body on the complaint paper, gave a written complaint addressed to the Police Inspector. Later, the case also came to court. Nurses & wardboys testified as witnesses. I identified the assailants & weapons in court.
The judge who sat in the case was an honest upright lady. I was then treating her father. I cd see that she was determined that justice be delivered. What happened? Ultimately the case was dismissed. The honest Inspector later met me & was fuming. "Sir, what can I do? In TN, everything is politicised. Our (honest) DC has received calls from 3 ministers. The APP has received 'calls'. All the witnesses who testified for u, later turned hostile. Their families have been threatened with death. Sometimes, I feel like resigning sir. There is no justice in Tamilnadu." Remember that was an Inspector of Police speaking.
If you are a medical student/intern/ resident, get your degrees & get the f*** out of this thankless country. I have a hundred more incidents to relate.

This angle of Alexander Sørloth not passing the ball to Erling Haaland which could have put Norway ahead by 2-0 against England. Haaland looked visibly frustrated.

Norway are a team with mostly mediocre players, being carried through their games by the world's best striker.

Sorloth didn't fail to pass because he's a glory hunter, or whatever - he's just not a great player. His football instincts aren't top tier like Haaland's are, and harshly criticising him for not delivering a perfect pass here is simply putting expectations on him that go beyond his talents.

Bro was waiting for 2030 to pass. I count a full 2 seconds where he could have rolled it across to Haaland! No way Haaland is doing anything other than score if he received that ball.

Another first in Chennai public transport by MTC (Metropolitan Transport Corporation).

Chennai Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) will operate 41 special school buses with 84 daily trips from July 13, 2026, to ensure school students travel safely, comfortably, and without overcrowding.

These special services will pick up students from bus stops near their residential areas in the morning and drop them back safely after school in the evening.
