There's something I don't understand with these Nakasero blood bank people.
They advertise everyday encouraging us to donate blood and save lives but you'll be shocked when you go there.
You're welcome by an attitude from a female receptionist who somehow is always busy doing other things and she'll respond to you as if she's actually helping you.
You then proceed to the medics who are supposed to take your blood and the attitude is the same.
I now see why people don't want to donate blood. How can I transport myself to come and donate blood and you're giving me a "who invited you" attitud?
Uganda🙌
The road stretch from City Oil Kamwokya to Kira Road Police Station is only about 1.7 km, yet it has taken months to construct. You can pass there for three consecutive days and find no work being done.
A dentist friend of mine who operates a clinic along that road told me yesterday that his business has been running at a loss since the construction began.
Who is responsible for this project, and what exactly is causing these endless delays? The impact on businesses and road users is significant.

This was brought to my attention. Scammers using photo and name and my interview on the @AgoraCFR podcast to scam people. Please treat it with the contempt it deserves and whoever can help me reach as many possible as possible, so that they are not scammed, will be highly appreciated. An acquaintance from a while back wanted to use it for their trading business so I imagine there are people who are not able to reach out to me to verify and are falling for that scam.

“**Uganda
Moving to Uganda, the Secretary-General is closely following recent developments in Uganda and notes with concern reports regarding the detention of political and civic actors in the country, including cases in which the whereabouts of some individuals have not been clearly established.
He recalls that freedom of expression, including the independence of the media, as well as the rights to liberty and security of person, are enshrined in Uganda’s Constitution, as well as its international human rights obligations.
He encourages all stakeholders to exercise restraint and uphold the rule of law.”
If you marched to Parliament and faced the wrath of the state head-on, if you supported this campaign in any way, from our legal team, @AgoraCFR, who mobilized support and stood firmly with us, to those who visited us in prison, our sureties, those who amplified the hashtag and demanded our release, and all sober-minded Ugandans who stood up and demanded accountability from Parliament…
Today, we celebrate you.
You are the true patriots of this country. You stood on the side of justice when it mattered most, and history will forever remember your courage and sacrifice.
Today, you are finally exonerated.
Uganda will remember.
So heartbreaking seeing Dr @miriamatembe in this state. She was tortured, she is in so much pain, she can hardly walk. Bail has been denied.
Seeing Matembe in this state is what makes MK and his team happy 😭😭😭
