@PharmRJ Then give pharmacists the autonomy to change the script to a drug that is in stock… I think it’s well within the competence of pharmacists to change atorvastatin 80 mg daily to 2 x 40mg atorvastatin daily..

@broome_hollie 2/2 the consultation osce is similar to pharmacy and using WWHAM. except I used oldcarts. Again don’t worry about doing it in order. Know your red flags and explore these if patient has any symptoms and mentions them.

@broome_hollie 1/2 Keep practicing the osce..... i found the physical exam harder... but take it step by step and don’t worry about time... if you forget something and you haven’t done it in order, go back and do it. Check if you can take a checklist with you. The consultation osce is very

@broome_hollie I really struggled with the critical writing thingy ! But a gp said to me “don’t worry about that, just as long as the prescription your writing is safe and appropriate “
I only just passed the two “essays” but did okay in the important bits of the OSCE & pharmacology exam !

@broome_hollie Finished in august 2019. Did it with UWE. Don’t get much opportunity to use it as I work in community pharmacy. Glad I did it though. Just in the middle of a clinical pharmacy masters. I found the OSCE hard, but pharmacology not too bad! Good luck, you will enjoy it !

@kieraneason It’s probably about prescriptions waiting to be collected from the pharmacy. If they are not collected, the pharmacy can’t submit the script and be paid for the work they have done!
