Pun-kin time! "... if you’re dressing up as a ghost, you’ll need to get your sheet together. ... if you’ve got it, haunt it! Or you could come as a vampire – if it’s not a pain in the neck. You need to consider what’s at stake. Or come as a zombie – that’s a no-brainer!"
As well as my poetry for beginners course @CrescentArts I will also be facilitating a one day poetry editing workshop.
The poetry course is aimed at beginners, returners and anyone who wants a return to fundamentals approach to poetry.
The workshop is for all abilities.
I am absolutely thrilled to be included in this upcoming publication from @BrokenSpineArts

Good luck!
Yesterday, I finally and officially graduated from my BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from @OpenUniversity It was a wonderful day at the Waterfront in Belfast, emotional and inspiring. #oufamily#graduates
@fionamkorourke@OpenUniversity Thanks, Fiona! I had a pizza, chicken wings, and re-watched The Wire. Altogether, too sensible. Going to see Blondie in a few weeks, I'll celebrate with more oomph then.
Yesterday, I remembered my Dad, who never got to watch me cross the stage. I know he would have been so proud. I also remembered that teenager, that little girl who never thought she could. I know she is so proud, cause that's her smiling like a champion. I did it!!!!!!
Tucked under my high collar were these two necklaces. One carries my Dad's ring, the other is the one I wore every day when I was a teenager. I wore them both to remember. My Dad is no longer with us, and neither is that awkward teenager who never believed in herself.
