GrokPod UPDATE!

With the new donations for the GrokPod (code name) project, I have on order more parts and components as well as a local machine shop that will mil a new case and updated design.

I have also had some notable folks reach out to try it. They will have it on Monday morning. So don’t be surprised if you see it in a video and talked about. They are extremely excited by the video demo I gave to them showing features I have not shown in public.

Unfortunately I do not have the funds to build more of those prototypes so until I get that one returned I can’t offer and more demos. I need to keep the one last one I have to build!

However the new design if it meet my spec will allow me to have more prototypes.

I spent most of the night rewriting the software experience and links to LOCAL AI models to work with @grok when needed. This will allow anyone with a small computer to run a local AI this device can speak to. It will allow for things no other system can allow.

It is very early days from where I took an old watch to the new electronics I have.

I also have many other projects and it is just me so work on this takes a slot from other things like saving data and curating data for AI training. And far more other things.

I would like to thank all who support my work in any way they have and will. The @UsePaid funds have all been directed to this project.
