I think one of the healthiest things a person can do is become easy to delight. To still stop for weird clouds and dogs wearing bandanas and the smell of garlic cooking somewhere down the street. The world already has enough cynicism. Be the person who still points at the moon.

I don't like this month. So I have taken it upon myself to journal everyday through out the month of March. Since I would not share my entries, I would share a phrase from my notes. Something that stayed with me more.
I got very inclined with Lucile Clifton's work because of Elizabeth Acevedo's Ted Talk. This statement gets me through most days. Knowing something has tried to kill my spirit and failed.
