9 days out from the Valencia Marathon we joined Australian Olympian @izzibattdoyle for a 10km threshold with training partner @charliepurdue as she gears up for next Sunday’s race in the iconic Bushy Park of Teddington. Coming soon to @trackstaa_ supported by Pillar Performance.
A year out from Paris, South Australian runner Izzi Batt-Doyle is gearing up for her second games.
But this time she's switching it up, deciding her Olympic career is a marathon, not a sprint. @alicemonfries#9News

Aussies in Nagoya Women's Marathon:
- Izzi Batt-Doyle 2:27:54 for 10th
- Eloise Wellings 2:32:09 for 18th
Not a Paris Olympics qualifier for Batt-Doyle, but a world championships qualifier and personal best. She's run two marathons for 2:28:10 and 2:27:54. Brilliant!
4th in the world 💚💛🤯
A world-class showing of strength and depth drags the Australian women to 4th at @WABathurst23, led by the inspirational Ellie Pashley 🇦🇺🦘

One week after Melissa Courtney-Bryant set a parkrun ‘world record’ of 15:31 in Poole, Izzi Batt-Doyle has run 15:25 at the Aldinga Beach event in Adelaide.
The Aussie’s 5000m best on the track is 15:04.10 and she is a 2:28 marathon runner. 📷 @HumaneClinic
There is a common saying if you turn your passion into your job, you'll never work a day in your life. For Olympian Izzi Batt-Doyle and her coach and partner Riley Cox, their passion is running, and their running business is taking major strides. @robcornthwaite#7NEWS
Not as easy night for a 10,000m on the track but Izzi Batt-Doyle has done herself proud 👏
8th in 32:04.52 - her fourth fastest time over the distance.

Izzi Batt-Doyle looms as one of the main contenders for the Women's 10,000m national title at Wednesday's Zatopek:10, and it comes as no surprise with the South Australian currently running in excess of 170km/week.
