the bag of clean water on the left is a sample upstream of Cop City construction. the dirty water on the right— full of sediment pollution — is the result of Cop City tree removal and land disturbance and represents (shocking no one!) a violation of the Clean Water Act.
This is happening in Georgia as well, in response to our movement. Population centers, slowly but surely, are being silenced. This is tightly linked to the "need" of the system for more policing and control in order to put down ecological, feminist, and poor peoples movements.
The Supreme Court upheld a federal law to protect Native children from being removed from families or tribes for fostering or adoption.

This is insane. In Davenport Iowa, an apartment building partially collapsed. There are still people and pets unaccounted for, but the city is set to demolish the building tomorrow morning and forgo any rescue attempts? People are understandably furious/protesting.
