What a weekend placing 3rd in a 18u bracket with some tough competition 🥉Thank you @BoulderIDT for hosting a great tournament this week!
Strong couple of days at the plate batting .440 with 3 💣💣💣, 5 singles, 3 doubles, and 6 RBl's. Along with
some strong defense in the field
contributing as much as I can to the team !!

May 2, 2026. La Salle Academy of RI defeated Moses Brown 18-2. La Salle Academy’s Nikki Pallotta blasted a 3-run home run, had 2 singles and 5 RBIs. Erin Moran had perfect game at the plate going 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles and 2 RBIs. Jennie Broomfield had 2 hits (double, single) 2 RBIs.

La Salle Academy scored 10 runs in the first inning to set the tone and scored another 8 runs in the third inning to make a statement win. Hailey Vigneau had a strong game on defense making plays for outs at second base.

April 26, 2026. La Salle Academy of RI defeated Taunton, MA by the score of 8-2 in a non-league game. La Salle Academy’s Hailey Vigneau pitched a strong game striking out 7 batters to earn the win. Jennie Broomfield reached base 3 times with 2 hits (double, single), walk 1 RBI. Nikki Pallotta had 2 hits, 1 RBI. Sophia Morgan and Erin Moran each had 1 hit, 2 RBIs.

Taunton’s junior Aniyah Bailey collected her 100th hit in her brilliant high school career on a double in the fourth inning and had 1 hit (double) 1 walk, 1 RBI in the game. Kaylee Lopes led Taunton in hitting with 2 hits that included a triple, single and 1 RBI. Pitcher Ella Parece struck out 5 batters.

La Salle Academy scored 2 runs in the first and 3 in the fourth inning to take a 5-0 lead that was highlighted by a Jennie Broomfield double that scored 1 run, Erin Moran single that scored 1run, Sophia Morgan double that scored 2 runs, Nikki Pallotta single that scored 1 run. Taunton scored it’s first run of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning on a double by Aniyah Bailey that scored Bella Bourque. La Salle scored 2 more runs in the fifth and 1 in the sixth to take an 8-1 lead. Taunton scored 1 run in the bottom of the seventh inning on a triple by Kaylee Lopes to center field.

La Salle Academy’s pitching and exceptionally strong defensive plays including some dynamic plays made by Ella Daponte and Samantha Sell in the outfield were key factors in the win.

Taunton lost its first game of the 2026 season and the historic, remarkable and sensational 65 game winning streak that dated back to 2023 came to an end and will forever be remembered as one of the best winning steaks in any sport in Massachusetts high school history.

Taunton is now (9-1) in 2026.
La Salle Academy is now (11-1) in 2026.
