@mikehall_dal @DalhousieU This is extremely frustrating! I wish there were more regulations out there to protect grad students. Grad school is different from undergrad in that you have someone to answer to other than yourself. It's like a job in many ways, yet we get no employee protections

@melissa_rioux @DalhousieU Yes! I try to be thankful with what I do get but you're so right. But at the end of the day I'm not even asking to get paid more. All I want is consistency and transparency! If my pay is going to fluctuate I would like to know ahead of time

Last month (end of June), my stipend payment was missed entirely. I made this known as soon as I noticed it and several days later I’m still waiting to be compensated. I had to borrow money in order to pay my rent and other bills this month. If I wasn’t lucky enough to have (6/9)
