@offlinee_______@enai_2026@lulolulo 1) The UK owns the Falklands, not the English. Stop confusing the two.
2) 99% of people on the Falkland Islands want to be under British rule, not Argentine.
3) Blame your fascist military dictatorship that took control in the 70s for the deaths of hundreds of Argentines, not UK.
@HQMilky@InchOrInfinity Considering England are in the KO stages of this World Cup, and Scotland are not, England are a lot closer to winning it than Scotland are.
@jordanjames123d@lukerobertblack@Joeboro196@5Pillarsuk Brazil became independent in 1822 and legalised homosexuality in 1830, as an example. Further, many of the kingdoms that predated European colonialism already had anti-gay laws/customs.
@jordanjames123d@lukerobertblack@Joeboro196@5Pillarsuk These countries that you refer to are independent. They've been independent for around 65-80 years. Most of their population have no living memory of British rule. They are free to legalise homosexuality if they wish. They choose not to. That's on them.
@nasscrave@D_A4A17 So you've given up? If you've got a Masters, you should be able to distinguish yourself from other applicants. Or is the issue that you're only wanting to apply in a specialised field?
@Bl1kGotNext@TiddleToodle@BareLeft But implementing a 10:1 pay ratio won't change what they get paid. It just means the PL footballer will move to Europe and get paid it there, while the UK's tax take goes down.
@nasscrave@xlampsx No idea where you are, other than outside of London, but I just went onto the Civil Service jobs website and the first thing I found was a trainee job for 32k in the middle of England.
