I strongly condemn the demolition and destruction of the historic Sikh Gurudwara in Farooqabad, Panjab, Pakistan. Such an act against a place of worship and an important part of Sikh heritage is unacceptable and goes against the principles of religious freedom, cultural heritage, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence.

I urge the Government of Pakistan @GovtofPakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif @PakPMO to take immediate action, conduct a thorough investigation, and take strict measures against those responsible. Those involved in this incident must be held accountable under the law, and steps should be taken to ensure that such incidents do not happen again.

My thoughts are with Sikh brothers and sisters. I hope justice is delivered and that this sacred place is restored.
