I went to my first #pwhl game last night and had a great time. What I didn't expect was to be so moved during the pregame. Manon Rheaume made ceremonial puck drop and I remembered all the 💩 that was said about her for her audacity to try to play with the men and 1/4 🧵

I remember watching my daughters come to realize there are very few pathways to play thier sport after uni without living in poverty. And then, at the game, I saw little girls and women who now can dream of playing beyond post secondary while not having to take other jobs.
