@kelsey_k17 A great example why you shouldn't get your science news from fast media! Always go back to the research and evaluate it for yourself if possible.
It's a pity this paper is behind a paywall. I'd love to know why they wanted to study diabetes and egg consumption. Seems unrelated.
@JacobGuimond1 The data is clearly in favor of wearing masks. Countries with cultures that encourage masking while sick have had significantly slower spread than the US. Related note - I found a study showing the differences in trajectory of respiratory droplets when masked vs unmasked. #bms525
This entire thread and the page it links to is gold! It explains vaccines in a way that anyone could understand. Highly recommend sharing to help educate your friends and family. #bms525#VaccinesWork

Our body has many ways of defending itself against pathogens such as
💪Physical barriers that prevent them from entering the body
💪Immune systems that destroy them once they infect our body

Why am I not surprised that Fox News is spreading misinformation? Surely an old golfer is qualified to comment on death tolls and suggest treatment plans? Just ignore all the data showing Hydroxychloroquine doesn't treat Covid19. #bms525#badCOVIDnews https://t.co/AwRJW8ibKu
Saw a Christmas tree up in the neighborhood BEFORE Halloween. Normally I’d bust someone’s chops about it, but you know what? Do what makes you happy. Especially this year. Keep it up till Valentine’s Day if you want. No rules anymore
.@audreyyhteh uses tobacco plants to produce antibodies for drug development, to fight diseases including cancer. “Tobacco has a horrible health legacy, so it would be nice to reform this plant’s image by engineering it to produce cancer treatments.” https://t.co/zphAomvnv5
@ClifSmart@MissouriState “Renting a hotel is cheaper than investing in our teachers and students more and using the money to transition online because people can’t buy sports merch or Chick-fil-A if they’re online”
@ClifSmart I know people who have been waiting DAYS to hear back from the university's Covid Response Team. I get emails everyday about exposures and positive cases from my students.
It's very clear the university was unprepared and is already overwhelmed by the pandemic. It's pure greed.
@jacobisaboy@ClifSmart I’m absolutely sickened by Missouri State’s handling of this, they’re risking the lives of thousands of students and the community, and all for what? I’m so disappointed. I thought we were better than this.
We need to start a hashtag for this. Any ideas?
