@Alan_Couzens 100% I always think the same thing when people say they are time crunched. We all are. If someone has different priorities that is completely fine, just call it what it is.
@SageCanaday@iRunfastXC Your original post was all about what he wrote 15 years ago. If he admitted to using a banned substance in the past couple of days (after your original post), then he shouldn't be eligible for any awards or prizes, no big deal. He's a bowhunter, not "hybrid athlete"
@SageCanaday And how many years ago was this written? I know the answer, but including that as well as using his name if youโre going to call someone out is important.
@poundtownmcd@Alan_Couzens I also agree. I was at 14 hours last week, and will be the same this week. Feel great. For some reason most runners talk in terms of mileage and think 60mpw+ is high volume.
@bolHcole @hubermanlab Can those NCAA XC runners do 10,000 pull-ups in 24 hours? In the same year as that sub 2:30. The context of the tweet matters, itโs not just the marathon time in isolation.
@stevemagness On top of this, it's good to understand that we often grow as a result of discomfort. Not every day will be enjoyable. It's the difference between short term and long term thinking.
@3moredays1@doctorinigo There are a lot of "high" carb options. Even SIS has beta fuel gels w/ 40g CHO per packet. If on the bike, it's easier to consume as a drink mix instead of only relying only on gels.
