I’m not sure how much my Twitter network knows (or cares):
This tweet is for the Iranian women & youths who are bravely leading Iran to a better future, and (IMHO) with a universal slogan: “Women, Life, Liberty”!

@aKoreanInNL @koryodynasty Not really. Korea had the fastest spread *in the world*. That means everywhere else was slower, regardless of mask policy. If anything, the evidence suggests that it actually makes it worse.
@mithridates @aKoreanInNL @koryodynasty At the start I made fun about how everyone would walk around outside without a mask, put it on to walk inside and then take it off again. Now it's the same except that everyone wears them outside
@koryodynasty Additionally, all those smoking areas behind buildings. Obviously not wearing a mask there. Not a single confirmed case of covid caught there in the whole pandemic. What does that say about their effectiveness?
@koryodynasty Korea recently had the fastest increase in covid numbers in the world and almost universal mask usage. What does that tell you about their effectiveness?
@koryodynasty Good to see the Korean govt doubling down on severe measures that have (at best) limited effectiveness. They started smart and have been getting stupider and stupider.
@koryodynasty I understand they don't want a covid positive person going drunkenly around 15 bars, so why not just have a rule where you just can't change place after 10pm, rather than shutting them down all together...
@BBCLBicker@HosuLakeLee Can you ask them how this makes any sense? Putting aside that Omicron is milder - once the variant is in, it's in. The quarantines won't stop it. This has been seen everywhere in the world... Korea included...
