So as someone who was raised in the States and now is based in Seoul, I have lived in the time of 9/11, two recessions, a pandemic, a convicted felon being voted for President, and now, an attempted coup d’etat.
Pls reach out to a millennial. We are tired.
#LoveIsland’s finest cast addition yet. Ugh listen if you’re going to monetarily benefit by taking an idea from another culture, AT LEAST PRONOUNCE IT RIGHT 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
THE DONUT TRAP x THE SWITCH
Remy can’t let her parents find out she’s been fired… again. To make sure, she tells them she’s going to Seoul on a business trip with plans to protect her halmeoni’s hanok. Turns out, it’s from the guy she may be falling for. #MoodPitch
I think out of all my students, maybe 1 or 2 (?) expressed a little complaint. And I completely get it. These kids got so many things robbed because of Covid and the joy of Halloween turned into a day of gloom, rightfully so.
Today, we had to cancel Halloween festivities at work as the South Korean President declared a week of mourning. The way most of my students didn’t utter a single complaint. “It’s because 151 people died in Itaewon. So sad.” The solidarity in mourning and grieving is real here 🇰🇷
My heart is grieved for victims and their families. In all my years in Seoul, never have I heard about such tragedy on land. Lives have been shattered, and some will never be able to piece them back together. #이태원🤍
