@AutisticCallum_ It's on point for me. I've mistaken hyperfixation for love so many times in the past. When I met my fiancé everything was just so much easier. I wasn't as anxious and it felt natural, instead of that total panic and obsession I've felt earlier.

@YunalesckaGames My fiancé lost taste and smell for a few days but for me it was gone for 1-2 months. Then I realized that cucumbers tasted like chemicals to me, nothing else was affected. Took me 7 months or so before that suddenly went away. I had mild cold symptoms otherwise.

@ItsEmilyKaty Yup, it helped me a lot with my anxiety. The problem is that when I'm off my meds every now and then I can't get anything done since I don't have the anxiety driving me anymore 🙈

@Finnattentive There are of course ADHDers who are rude and lack empathy but that's their personal traits not ADHD traits.

Tbh I feel like NTs have less empathy than NDs. They are less inclined to imagine themselves in other's shoes and try to understand them 🙈

@Finnattentive Bluntness and a different way of expressing empathy I'd say. NTs often have expectations on how people should express empathy, and if you express it in a different way they may label you as someone who lacks empathy.

@BigZombieMonkey Same, I only skip if I'm really ill and can't get out of bed, but even then I can barely go without showering.

I don't judge others for not having to shower daily, but "nobody showers everyday"... 🙄

@BigZombieMonkey I'm sorry to hear. I hope this gives you time to get back on your feet and that you will find a better opportunity soon! I was sacked on my birthday from my job for caring for my daughter during the first year of the pandemic. But I ended up with a better job and higher pay.

@proyearner Christopher Paolini has both fantasy and sci-fi books. I have only read the Inheritance series (Eragon), but he's an awesome author so I have no doubt his other books are just as good. The Inheritance series are my favorite books.
