@honigmaydl Joe Biden was a real jerk to Dr. Hill. He was pushing the confirmation and in league with the Republicans. What an absolute disgrace that he was paraded as “Mr. Empathy”. B.S. Americans are completely propagandized.
@JonBowzerBauman And this is why they are fine with special ed for K-12 being moved to the Dept. of Labor and support a nepo failson like RFK Jr. who makes generalizations about people who are autistic. They’re eugenicists all.
@CBSEveningNews@davidfrum Kleptocracy. What else would we expect from a crime boss for a president. Why in the hell did y’all do this to us, to your grandchildren? We may never recover from this disastrous disgrace.
@WTOP That’s cause the graft was the point. Somebody got their palms greased. It’s what happens under a crime boss presidency. Just like the wire fraud with Freefom 250. In💩 ification PLUS kleptocracy. So…much…greatness…
@krassenstein He really has made this equivalent to the 3rd world in every sense. Pillaging us bare, degrading the environment. Empire is turning inwards.
The government already collects every email/text/phone you make. We’ve been a surveillance state for quite a while & Flock cameras record your every move.
We are now China, except with more homeless & street crime, slower trains, & healthcare that bankrupts you:
no healthcare. no vibrant middle class. crumbling infrastructure. grifters in every office. so all we have are tools and symbols of violence to flaunt that are antiquated useless to win wars but only useful to bomb poor third world countries. happy 250th
Every billionaire arrives carried by roads, ports, courts, cables, schools, hospitals, currency, public order and generations of collective labour. Then the story gets edited down to one heroic entrepreneur. Capitalism does not create alone. It hides the scaffold.
@barbarismcrit Watching Kasie’s devolution since cutting her teeth on the campaign trail with Bernie in 2016 has been so eye opening 😢 it’s like witnessing Lindsey Lohan become a plastic in Mean Girls but wearing a power suit and a look on her face that’s says “I know this is BS” 🤑
@CattardSlim Poor little rich girl whose mother died under suspicious circumstances and was interred in a forgotten, weed-infested corner of a golf course with no headstone, just a cheap name plate. Brave face, or complicit carelessness. You decide…
@MrsStonerHobbit@LauraRbnsn My grandmother gave birth in a rural Pennsylvanian hospital 7 times from 1953-1964 and she knew that Amish mothers were not permitted to be unattended with their husbands in the room because of this. Not sure about “tradition” probably just entitlement and disregard for women.
@JoshEakle My parents live in Amish Country and have Amish friends who have died of cancer, I’ve seen Amish people with obesity I’m sure there are others with the maladies listed in the post.
The reason millennials are so nostalgic is that they got a brief taste of a world that wasn’t entirely controlled by the stupidest people who’ve ever lived.
Let me tell you what just got reported, because you will not believe it until you see it laid out.
The Trump administration cut a billion-dollar tungsten deal with Kazakhstan. Tungsten is the metal we need for missile warheads, fighter jets, and computer chips. Trump himself got on the phone to close it. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick worked it from the inside, sending letters, leaning on the Kazakh president, lining up as much as $1.6 billion in federal financing.
Within weeks of those negotiations, investors tied to a firm partly owned by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump took a 20% stake in an entity connected to the very same Kazakhstan project their father was negotiating. Around that same time, Cantor Fitzgerald, the firm run by Lutnick’s own sons, raised $210 million for a partner in the deal and pocketed the fees.
The fathers set the policy. The sons cashed in.
Six days after the Trump sons and their partners moved their money, Lutnick signed the final deal.
The reporting found one or both families have financial ties to at least 14 companies working with the government on critical mining deals.
The total federal funding flowing toward those companies tops $8.9 billion.
This is your tax money.
It is supposed to secure our supply chains and protect our troops, not pad the portfolios of the President’s children and the Commerce Secretary’s children.
This is the most corrupt administration in American history. It is not close.
We must keep digging, and keep asking the questions they do not want asked. Republicans in Congress are unwilling to lift a finger. Mike Johnson is running a protection racket.
Either we will end the corruption, or the corruption will be the end of us.

@NickKristof@JohnFugelsang@elonmusk Musk does not consider those fellow human beings, kindred souls, to be “someone.” It’s just that simple. To him, as a child of privilege and apartheid, if they’re not white, they don’t count in humanity.
