The Lords Liaison Committee has recommended the creation of a Northern Ireland Scrutiny Committee.

The committee will scrutinise the implementation of the Windsor Framework and relevant EU and UK legislation applying to Northern Ireland.

On the second day of COSAC @LordRickettsP emphasised the importance of the EU taking an open approach to its "strategic autonomy" agenda.

He argued this should include cooperation with likeminded partners where there are shared objectives, for example on policy towards China.
