In the labyrinth of our modern discourse, we often encounter the Jabberwocky. This mythical creature, a product of Lewis Carroll's imaginative genius, has become a symbol of the nonsensical, the absurd, and the bewildering. It represents the confusion and chaos that often characterizes our contemporary world.
The Jabberwocky is a monster of many faces, a creature that defies definition and categorization. It lurks in the shadows of our social media feeds, our political debates, and our cultural narratives. It is the embodiment of the confusion and disorientation that many of us feel in the face of a rapidly changing world.
In the modern context, the Jabberwocky represents the fear of the unknown, the anxiety of uncertainty. It is the manifestation of our collective existential dread, the sense that we are lost in a world that we no longer understand. It is the dragon we must slay, the challenge we must overcome.
Yet, like the young hero in Carroll's poem, we have the tools to confront the Jabberwocky. We have the vorpal sword of critical thinking, the shield of skepticism, and the helmet of open-mindedness. We can navigate the Tulgey Wood of modern life, avoiding the pitfalls of confirmation bias and the Bandersnatch of ideological rigidity.
The Jabberwocky is not merely a foe to be vanquished, but a lesson to be learned. It teaches us the value of clarity and precision in our language and our thinking. It reminds us of the importance of facing our fears and uncertainties with courage and determination.
So, let us not shy away from the Jabberwocky, but embrace it. Let us use it as a mirror to reflect upon our own thoughts and beliefs. Let us see in its many eyes the myriad perspectives of our fellow human beings. And let us, like the hero of the poem, return from our quest victorious, with a deeper understanding of ourselves and our world.
In this way, the Jabberwocky ceases to be a monster and becomes a metaphor, a symbol of our journey towards truth and understanding in a complex and often confusing world.
We donโt have 60 votes for the House-passed SAVE America Act
But we do have a simple majority
Given the billโs widespread bipartisan popularity, we could pass it with a simple majorityโby debating it until it passes
I explain how in this clip
Share if you want this to happen
Dear Senator Cornyn,
I approached you respectfully at the airport, extending my hand & introducing myself.
We were at the ticket gate with literally dozens of witnesses โ passengers inches away.
Despite a quib reply back from you, I kept things professional & focused on the SAVE America Act.
While I respect that you say you want to ensure wins this November, I speak for millions when I say that voters will be more likely to vote upon the passage of the SAVE America Act.
Voters see whatโs happening in California & wonder why our Senate isnโt doing everything in its power to secure our elections.
Did you know that former Congresswoman Michelle Steel (R-CA) lost by 653 votes in 2024? Did you know that former Congressman John Duarte (R-CA) lost by 187 votes?
I have no doubt that the SAVE America Act would have prevented these losses.
Why are we normalizing an expectation for California to count votes for weeks after Election Day โ like Spencer Prattโs election.
In North Carolina, the State Board of Elections found 34,000 dead voters on the voter rolls โ fact-check me. (CC: Senator Tillis)
How can Americans have confidence in our elections & how are Americans going to be inspired to vote if you donโt legislate as the majority?
Last โ & I mean this with the utmost of respect โ for the $150 million that was spent on the Texas Senate primary/runoff,
we could have built massive voter registration/get out the vote operations in every single swing state.
While I understand it might be difficult to contemplate an American citizen doing this work because itโs the right thing to do, Iโm proud to say that I donโt take PAC $ โ not even from my own organization.
I canโt be bought, which frustrates the political establishment.
My one singular mission is doing right by the American people and delivering legislative wins that the popular vote delivered in 2024.
Iโm on the way to the Texas GOP Convention to help ensure all of our Republican candidates win this November โ I hope youโll do the same.
I hope youโll do the right thing & encourage your colleagues to pass the SAVE America Act โ letโs win big.
Elon,
In order to defeat Senator Lisa Murkowski in 2028, we first have to DEFEAT Ranked Choice Voting.
There is an initiative on the ballot this year in Alaska to defeat RCV:
โ Alaska Ballot Measure 2
A YES vote would eliminate RCV.
โVote YES to end the MESS.โ
By the way, Governor Dunleavy has already signaled he will run against her.
Can we chat?
@elonmusk
I'll never understand the Elon hate outside of pure jealousy.......
I recently hosted an 18 person men's retreat.
Guys from all over the world off X met up in real life. It was awesome!
One man @rdsanchezjr the last night started tearing up about a brutal legal battle he endured during PEAK WOKE ERA.
He was wrongfully fired from a job he loved after 28 years of service with ZERO problems prior.
He didn't bend the knee, stood on his morals & principles & was fired for it.
He said,
"ELON MUSK gave me my life back."
Elon quietly paid for attorneys, helped him fight, & got him reinstated!!
No publicity.
No big thing.
Most billionaires are on yachts with models lecturing us about climate change.
Elon Musk fights fraud, corruption, saved free speech, does more for green energy than anyone, sends rockets into space & brings them back in one piece, is giving the world internet access, & somehow even helps the little guys in legal battles.
@ZubyMusic was at the retreat & messaged Elon a thank you with @rdsanchezjr & he even quickly responds back he's glad he could help.
Maybe, instead of everyone always whining about how the algo doesn't serve them or this or that.....
Just say thank you to the world's richest guy that constantly fights for humanity.
Thank you @elonmusk ๐โค๏ธ
