Great week at work, brought down by parenting fail. Won a big charity bid, managed the juggle that is single parent on-call (thanks grandparents) but forgot to remind son it was PE and he got a negative mark in 3rd week of big school. The guilt. But #onlyhuman I guess! @FlexNHS

To the @tfl bus driver who gave my son (and me) an understanding smile as he got on the bus & the @lb_southwark crossing guard who asked the boy in the too big blazer ‘did you have a nice first day?’ - thank you for looking out for nervous Year 7s on their 1st day at big school!

Spent a day and feeling upset & anger about the SCOTUS decision and worse reading more about restrictive abortion laws across many parts of Europe. Taking 1st step to channel rage by setting up regular donation to @AbortionSupport who help women access safe care in UK and Europe

@KateBurkeNHS @FlexNHS I was feeling guilty that one of my friends was helping me with the childcare juggle far more than I was reciprocating. I voiced this to her and she rolled her eyes and said ‘it’s not a problem, it’s feminist solidarity’ and I couldn’t have loved her more.
