3 daily rants in one week? A new record!
It's a fair question. And the answer is, no. Even in immune suppressed patients there is no evidence that cidal vs. static means anything. Why?
Big takeaways from my first SCCM:
1) Increasing catecholamines leads to bad outcomes
2) Add vaso and ang-2 earlier rather than later
3) Phenobarbital 5-10mg/kg load for AWS is safe
4) 4F-PCC vs AA debate remains (publish ANNEXA-I!)

Your patient is in cardiac arrest. You are giving epinephrine every 3 minutes.
Is that based on any evidence? Not really.
This study in Resuscitation actually measured the epinephrine level every minute after a bolus during cardiac arrest in humans. The half-time was 2.6 minutes. This suggests we may be dose-stacking if we give it every 3 minutes.
