Made a detailed financial look at each prem team and ranked them all based on 6 factors. I also projected this upcoming windows net spend, and 25/26 and 26/27 revenues for each team. Let me know if you have any notes to improve this https://t.co/CPM2bUhyUa
Privileged rich girl talking about how the government needs to forcefully take money from black athletes to subsidize her sport despite the fact that those sports already subsidize her sport๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๐๐
"Rowing has transformed my life... The Protect College Sports Act preserves this Olympic pipeline and the integrity of non- revenue and Olympic sport athletes."
Sophia Stylianos, a rower from @UMich, stresses the importance of passing the PCSA. ๐
This is embarrassing. Basketball and football players are not required to subsidize runners and rowers and strong Olympic sports programs are not a human right. Schools are as welcome to fund them as they did before.
The New Right sees the world as a zero-sum collective competition between racial groups.
This is why they will fail. They are not nation-builders; they will always splinter, divide, and find new internal enemies to attack.
University of Houston basketball coach Kelvin Sampson just spoke in Washington D.C. in support of the Protect College Sports Act. "At some point we have to rein in the chaos," Sampson said with Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Maria Cantwell at his side and student-athletes from a number of sports behind him. "This bill is not foolproof. But it's the best thing we have to get improvement and some control in our athletic departments. And control for our student-athletes."
Sampson is one of three active coaches who spoke, joining John Calipari and Mark Few, another indication of Sampson's standing and influence in college athletics.

I'm totally good with building up John Stewart (he's an awesome character!)
But don't do it at the expense of the legacy of Hal Jordan.
Comparing Hal to an addict, and saying that he's compromised his principles feels like weak writing trying to prop up the chosen character at the expense of another.
I'm not even a GL guy, but even I know that Hal is a legend.
Jets rookie pass rusher David Bailey with a team-leading 6 pressures (23.1% pressure rate) in the season-opening win against the Titans.
Had a sack too (was just pushing Cam Ward out of bounds). But the impact was felt.
