I think this 100k number the Tories have invented re: Labour migration is quite an important test for those bits of the media that attempt impartiality. They need to say outright that it has no basis whatsoever and that they won't repeat it or use it against Labour spokespeople.

We’ve hit our target to start building 20,000 council homes in London by 2024 a whole year early.
Whilst there’s no quick fix to London’s current housing crisis, I’m hugely proud of the progress we’re making to deliver a new golden era in council home building in our capital.
It's very unlikely to have impact on real world polling / electoral fortunes in any direction - because almost nothing does. It's entirely reasonable to critique something on ethical grounds regardless of whether it's smart/bad/irrelevant politics.

All the Conservatives have to offer the British public is the same as what they’ve delivered over the last decade: anger & decline. Different flavours, enemies & proclaimed ‘solutions’ (which never come, of course) but that’s it. Anger and decline. We can do a lot better.
What they decry as "woke" is, in reality, universal respect, which does not differentiate on the grounds of a person's standing in the supposed social hierarchy. And this means a perceived loss of power for those who believe they stand on the pinnacle.
