I was fired from Astronomer today. I ran our company’s events team.

Turns out our CEO and Head of HR were having an affair and got caught at the Coldplay concert that I bought the company tickets to.

They blamed me for getting caught and fired me on the spot.

Taking some time to reflect and will start looking for jobs soon!

Week 538.

Our country generates thousands of metric ton of mismanaged plastic waste.

Unclean contaminated plastic makes recycling impossible. Collection of clean uncontaminated plastic improves the waste recycling stream.

The recycling rates in our country is abysmal.

Training of communities to improve the collection system is vital to improve waste management system.

This week our work in areas where there is no waste management system.

Last month 5 MT (1.3 million pieces) brought into the recycling stream by training communities.

Floating garbage in the ocean harms the health of the ocean .

One of the way to protect the ocean - is to clean the floating debris before it forms garbage island .

In Last 5 years we have plucked out 12.8 million kgs of Marine debris from the oceans of mumbai . Some of them recyled .
