@drvolts Have you had any articles on NYS 94c utility power siting law? Seems like is one of the first state laws to get around this sentiment power clean energy infrastructure
@nycsouthpaw Important to note that at this early stage of the conflict with no hard power coming Putin and Russia need to feel the pain while also still having a lot to lose (swift/personal sanctions) that could come anytime
@FrankLuntz Pathetically naive analysis, completely devoid of context from the GOPs top thinker. Wonder how much longer this ideology will cling on in the mainstream
@MichaelEMann @MincLisa @arnestor The idea that there is no middle ground between runaway warming (feedback loops) and there being no hope of actionable mitigation- is wrong - and you need to explain the nuance, not just say anyone who is alarmed is wrong. I liked your book btw
@PeterGleick It’s tragic, but climate phds were never the loudest voice in the room. The uncertainty of earth as a laboratory preclude strong headline predictions. PhDs haven’t been hard enough bc they couldn’t. Really a lot is on those who prize an extra $200 in tax dollars above all else
@JCoop1287 Jesus joe, ‘poors and minorities’ aren’t asking for a higher minimum wage, minimum wage workers and folks who understand it hasn’t changed in 40 years while cost of living has are asking for higher minimum wage
@ClimateBeard Mobilize. All of these suggestions miss the thing you actually want people to do. No one can do anything TO climate change. It’s abstract. Need to resonate that PEOPLE to actually take action in their own lives
@StartHereABC what a terrible interview on climate change. We will never move on this if you can’t ask a basic follow up question to a claim of the solution to climate change is to burn more fossil fuels. US legislators know we can’t do anything about emissions of other countries
