@hbrooks_coach This isn’t the worst VAR decision we’ve seen (the Diaz offside is still probably the worst) but this is absolutely horrendous. Referees/VAR officials have become so scared of intervening in obvious wrong calls - they need to grow a pair and start calling out the obvious ones
@kayldavenport Hopefully not for Lando in Monza, teams usually hold their freshest engine back for that race because it’s so power sensitive. Might hurt him later in the season having one taken out of the pool though (like Lewis in Brazil 2021)
@nikolinalepht There should be an actual advantage coming from winners but FaZe should also have dispatched some of the teams they played much more effectively than they have (LAG in M2 Vanguard, NYSL in M4 MWII springs to mind)
@PCLivesMatter True, you’d never see this happen back in the golden days of COD.
Anyway, here’s ZooMaa playing for OpTic whilst being signed to the FaZe starting roster …
@WolfpackFPS In fairness, OpTic fans pull exactly the same trick by pulling stats/records etc. from Vanguard onwards to conveniently avoid including the CW year when FaZe ran everyone’s world
@adamjoseph Given the fact that it’s literally called the CHAMPIONS League, surely the winner of a fairly major European trophy has more of a right to be there than someone who finishes 4th/5th in their domestic league who hasn’t actually won anything?
@JxGilly @mmrh Even if you discount the weird MW19 homestands, FaZe won 4 events in CW, 1 in MWII, 2 in MWIII and 2 in BO6 = 9 events. Even if you only count the LAN wins it’s still 7. No idea your criteria for event wins if you’re only counting 5?
Ben said “some of ZMF are sheep” and the whole chat is spamming sheep emojis when they see others doing it. Monkey see, monkey do.
Gotta think he might’ve had a point …
@RonnieInteL Don’t combine. Try and move the EWC event to earlier in their schedule and have CDL Champs afterwards - make the schedule similar to the BO4 playoffs > Champs.
Final Major > EWC > Champs would be a quality ending to the season every year.
