@TKoutsantonisMP You should be more interested in how much the Auditor General found you spent on a Hydrogen Jobs Plan that will have “no immediate future economic benefit”.
No one has an issue with parklands currently operating as a golf course turning into an even better golf course. But that doesn’t mean we need to give the Minister extraordinary power to take any bit of parklands he wants.
On a day Liberals are talking about world heritage listing of the Adelaide Park Lands to protect them for future generations, the Lord Mayor’s social media account says Labor’s golf course legislation is “impossible to describe as anything other than a Park Lands takeover.”
Today’s Budget turns a shortfall of nearly 200 police officers into a shortfall of more than 500 police officers.
Labor can’t recruit and retain police today. Where is the plan to recruit and retain these additional police?

@GraemeGoodings NOW: Attorney General Kyam Maher @kymaher and Shadow Police Minister Jack Batty @jackbattybragg on the knife laws being introduced to Parliament this week.
Stephen Mullighan as Treasurer has hopelessly under-resourced South Australian Police. Let’s hope he takes a different approach as Labor’s new Part Time Police Minister.
I’ve never seen so much graffiti in our local community & it keeps getting worse & Labor are still failing to act on it. This was one issue @jackbattybragg, @basic4mayo & I covered in our community crime forums last year & we will keep fighting to see this issue fixed for all South Australians. Graffiti is illegal, looks terrible & fixing it is a huge waste of time & money for government & the owners of private property & taxpayers generally.
Enough is enough.
No one should be able to assault a police officer and get away with it.
We will introduce new legislation which will ensure a minimum jail time for assaulting a police officer.
“They’re trying to replace a police station with a telephone”

Alex Dighton’s first ever vote in Parliament was to vote against the Liberal’s tough new knife crime laws progressing. Why do we have to endure another summer with Labor’s weak laws? @SALibMedia
