Watching Better Call Saul before rewatching Breaking Bad really has reframed Walter White as divine cosmic punishment for Gus's, Mike's, and Saul's hubris and I am here for it. Zeus himself put that tumour in Walt's lungs.
One of the crazier stories about Belushi's drug use during his days at SNL was after a long night partying with Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones. Belushi finally found his way back to NBC, and was so drugged up before the live taping, he was coughing up blood. Lorne Michaels got a doctor to look over Belushi and see if he could go on, but the doctor said he absolutely didn't think Belushi should and may even die if he performed instead of going to the hospital.
Lorne asked, "What are the odds he'll die?"
The doctor said, "50/50."
Lorne said, "I can live with that." Belushi gave a thumbs up and killed that night.
For anyone interested, the episode was Season 4, Episode 13 (1979)

I've been using https://t.co/e2UM8MgbMW for help on a rather complicated original fantasy story and expressed frustration when a dead idea was resurrected for like the fifth time, and it hit me with this. I would not confidently expect anything this helpful from anyone on Reddit!
Claude Opus 5.5 writes a fugue in the style of Bach. I called Astra’s fugue the most impressive musical feat I’d ever seen from an LLM, and this is just as good. The circle-of-fifths sequence beginning at 1:13 is beautiful. The interplay of voices is natural and satisfying. LLMs are getting to the point where their music is good enough to listen to for pure enjoyment.
