“Always after a defeat and a respite, the Shadow takes another shape and grows again.”
“I wish it need not have happened in my time …”
“So do I… and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for us to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
“Other evils there are that may come… Yet it is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succour of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till.”
“And better so than to perish nonetheless – as we surely shall, if we sit here – and know as we die that no new age shall be.”
- J.R.R. Tolkien

Glad to have smart, optimistic voices like @ZubyMusic who understand what's at stake.
