BREAKING: Amsterdam Mayor regrets calling what happened in Amsterdam a “pogrom”, saying “we were completely overtaken by Israel”:

“In hindsight, I should not have used the word ‘pogrom.’… We were completely overtaken by Israel. At 3 am, Prime Minister Netanyahu suddenly gave a lecture about what had happened in Amsterdam, while we were still gathering the facts.”

“The Israeli government spoke of a ‘Palestinian pogrom on the streets of Amsterdam,’ and in The Hague, the words were used to discriminate against Moroccan Amsterdammers, Muslims. That is not what I meant or what I wanted.”

“I saw how the word 'pogrom' became very political and turned into propaganda."

Mayor Femke Halsema also said she should have highlighted violence caused by Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters.

The entire Western media and political class acted as press agents for an Israeli disinformation campaign. All to provide cover for racist football hooligans and a state engaged in genocide.

This was obvious at the time, as documented by photo journalist @iAnnetnl but the media chose to lie about her footage and spin it to the world.
