The “10x cost” claim is wrong. Upfront costs are higher, but lifetime costs drop due to fewer outages, repairs, and storm losses.

That’s basic infrastructure economics, not opinion.

This is horribly CRUEL on behalf of the CFIA and Police on site. An Ostrich was noticed today and looks like she is DYING, and the Farmers/caretakers are NOT ALLOWED to provide any care or just be with the DYING OSTRICH. So horrible CFIA, so horrible

But they import, pay tariffs, and pass everything on to us, plus a markup. A chocolate bar is now $6 in our small business. Tariffs are 25%, and it's killed us and others.

They also have to pay out to Sobeys and all the other increases to stay open. There is always a top dog in a franchises but there are also individuals.
