Think there's some confusion around terminology when it comes to pensions. Private Pension and SIPPs are essentially the same thing. The PP in SIPP stands for Personal Pension.
SIPP just allows you greater investment choice depending on the provider.
I've moved all former workplace pensions into one pot and invested it how I wantt.

And a pension invested correctly will greatly outperform property, especially a property you are not receiving any rental income from.
