Anthony Gordon quote: "I owe this club a lot because, when I arrived, I was quite lost both in life and and in football. The club has given me a sense of belonging and a sense of identity. It's allowed me to do what I always thought I could do. It's put me on the biggest stage and allowed me to perform for the shirt." #nufc
This is a classic right wing, anti green spin. The kind of thing Octopus energy takes part in.
Yes it cost £1.5bn last year to switch off windmills when we had more wind than the grid could take, but wind energy made £50bn worth of power that year - so this £1.5bn cost was just 3% of the benefit we gained.
Flip it the other way - we gained 97% of what was possible from our windmills last year - we’ll get the other 3% when the grid is upgraded.
Lies, damn lies and statistics..:)
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
THAT IS ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think it's just tactical voting that will keep Reform out.
It's the fact they will bankrupt the NHS, their councils are an absolute shambolic mess, the Russian money links and the mystery of how Farage's GF acquired nearly a £1mill cash to buy a house for him and Farage's boats - all should be enough to keep ppl from voting Reform. They are a MESS
This is the last time I’ll ask.
You’ve done amazing to fight against a paid campaign.
It’s 50/50 and I know they will come strong in the last hour too.
One last time.
Please RT this and let’s make sure Alan Shearer is crowned champion.
Setting a target of 150 RT’s.

I’ve seen a real culture shift in the responses from journalists as well. Some are just shrugging their shoulders. Maybe I’m getting old but I value traditions. I support a lower league football team and know what the FA Cup means to the players and supporters of those clubs. Getting a replay is as good as a win. Financially it’s even better Listening to managers like Guardiola, Ten Hag and Arteta yesterday make their thoughts public, I felt patronised.
The game is being run for the elite, the so called Big Six tried to leave three years ago to set up a super league and got a slap on the wrists when they were forced to scrap the plan.
Decisions are made to benefit them first and foremost with the rest of the Premier League also driven by self interest when it comes to things like the FA Cup.
PSR also protects their position and masquerades as protecting the financial stability of the game. They have pulled the drawbridge up. The points deductions for teams like Everton and Nottingham Forest. 115 charges against Man City that are yet to be concluded. Chelsea selling two hotels.:.
I don’t know what the answer is but we need to start asking serious questions about what is going on.
Maybe lower league clubs should boycott the FA Cup next season….
