@brutella Well I’ve been using this plug-in for over a year with no issue and the plug-in did not recently receive an update. Only change was iOS 15 which added its own temperature detect method. I will try again using Philips hue temp sensor but it feels like a wider issue to me
@brutella Hey! have you noticed that Automations that are triggered by Temperature level changes from sensors or ACs with sensors are no longer triggered by HomeKit iOS 15? You have to open the home app to "refresh" the accessories, then the Automations get triggered. Any advice?
@brutella I have a Midea AC and use Homebridge to make it work. However, thinking it might be the homebridge plug-in, I also tried setting the trigger to use the temperature sensor from a Philips Hue sensor and had the same issue
@brutella I am mainly using Air Conditioners as a trigger but I also tried a direct temperature sensor as a trigger. Maybe I’m the only one with this issue? I can’t figure out why this is happening. The home app offers temperature triggers itself now but you can’t trigger the same AC
