@aarongg_tu @keithSTHM I can see that, but people get irritated when they have to do things a certain way or download an extra app or fill out an extra form. At least for the beginning parts of the transition, it may be hard for some to get on board. #group4#srm3224
@dr_marshmallow@keithSTHM Older generations in this case mean those that do not understand how to use the ballpark app or find their ticket on the phone when coming to a stadium, not just "old people". #srm3224#group4
@tuk01319 I think that it would be good to have this as an option, but not mandate it for everyone at least for the beginning. This allows the option for people to sign up to use the feature rather than requiring it. #group4#srm3224
@mollyyyadams1 I think that this is an interesting concept for the future. Especially, because if technology can take away jobs from the stadium this may help keep the connection to others while at a game. #group4#srm3224
I think it is too soon right now. Currently, tickets have recently changed at the Phillies from QR codes to Apple wallet features. With this change, I think some time will pass for consumers to adapt to this before adding another feature to the ticketing system. #srm3224#group4
This can be an example of sport that creates noise for sport due to kids on the internet and at sporting events with gambling or alcohol ads. If they see a celeb promote it then they would want to be apart of it too. #srm3224
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) wants to ban the use of athletes and celebrities who might appeal to kids in internet gambling advertisements. https://t.co/f5iyOmUJ4C
One way that amplifies women’s sport message is the new restaurant in Portland called the Sports Bra. This is a bar/restaurant that only plays women’s sports and connects women athletes to promote women’s sports and increase accessibility to watch #srm3224 https://t.co/HJPZDcPqS2
I can see why people believe that humans are still in your thinkers I just think with the way times are people are smarter, and while we rely heavily on technology, we use it to our advantage #srm3224#group3
@josh_ungerer @mollyyyadams1 @fernalexis2 It's becoming even more important for hydration and recovery around training and games alike. #srm3224#group4
@Amarna_Milne @RidallJake@Andrew_BoscoSRM I think it has become more difficult to find reliable information on the Internet. Nowadays everyone can be a writer/reporter but they may not be as credible as others. #group4#srm3224
@Daniellelyons_ I agree. I think that with accessibility comes knowledge. Although people rely on the internet when they have a question they are looking up things to understand them. We are learning even if we rely on technology. #group4#srm3224
@CalebSRM3224 This is very important especially in the development of the children later on in life. Especially when it comes to being social as they grow up. #group4#srm3224
@Andrew_BoscoSRM@keithSTHM I think that some of the extra stats have helped people learn the game better than before just watching a game take place. You get to understand the player's thought process and understand the development of the game. Also, stats have helped betting and gambling. #group4#srm3224
