For instance, say the same fan buys the same thing every game that they go to… in future games the organization can already be prepared with that item, and could potentially have it ready waiting at their seat as a way to show some fan appreciation
With facial recognition, organizations will be able to cater to their fans more and could overall greatly improve the in-stadium experience. Not only will lines be able to cut down, organizations will have many more opportunities to interact with their fans #srm3224#group4 1/2
@aarongg_tu I didn’t even think about this, stadium workers could use facial recognition to map out the most used routes that fans walk around the stadium, so they can ensure those areas are built to be less congested
It is pretty amazing to see how helpful facial recognition and other technology can be used for player development, however. With this new technology, I think you will start to see an uptick in the skill of more and more athletes as this technology develops #srm3224#group4
@LucasG_tuh14659 I completely agree with you on this, I feel like the only reason my face should be scanned is for security purposes, and not for something like collecting data
I feel like the more and more that technology develops, the closer and closer we get to a 1984-type scenario, which is frightening, to say the least. I think it’s pretty insane how far technology has come when it comes to facial recognition #srm3224#group4
#srm3224 Though this may be a bit older and times have changed… with marijuana now being legal in sport, it’ll be interesting to see the line that the leagues/teams/athletes draw when it comes to promoting marijuana

I feel like you can’t really compare the first developing humans with humans today, because they just operate and function at compeltely different levels due to the develoments in technology #srm3224#group4
My last argument that I have for us developing a new species is the fact that humans today have so much different knowledge and understanding of life than humans a few hundred years ago
@mollyyyadams1 @JacklynFloyd42 @fernalexis2 I completely didn’t even think about this with how big of a role that technology plays in the medical field
@JackOvington_TU I think you make a great point. Coaches make in game decisions on plays/playing styles based on statistics and analytics that are calculated through various technological programs
I think you can make the argument that humans today are even more linear thinkers than before. Technology has made human life so much easier than in the past, and say you forget something or have a question, it takes you 5 seconds to go on Google and just look it up #srm3224
@mollyyyadams1 But also couldn’t you also make the argument that the new “species” is based on technology, which is why they felt the need to get rid of paper tickets and instead go completely digital
@aarongg_tu I think you make a great point. Humans could be considered less evolved to an extent since we just rely on technology to do everything for us now
