To put it into context the first branded cards released upwards of like 6 years ago at this point. Comparatively, that’s like if dragon rulers were playable up until 2020 and were still relatively unhit on the banlist.
Konami releases most balanced, fair, interactive and grind-game-rewarding non engine of all time and everyone wants it deleted off the face of the earth
@jen_tcg The resource generation also makes you think a lot more about future turns it feels like and you have to map it out a bit more in your head. The limited cardpool i think makes it a bit of a brewer’s paradise as well, trying to innovate / micro optimise
@jen_tcg I will say that a large part of the appeal for playing riftbound for me has been recognising how they’ve implemented the champions mechanics from actual League into the game, and kicking my feet seeing how that translates to that champions gameplan
@jen_tcg My locals for ratio %’s is more like ~30% women i’d say? A lot of it is the ygo players also picking up riftbound so it’s a lot of the same people
@TrystenG@soigomaa 1) state enforced environmental laws
2) garbage collectors / street cleaners
3) state can employ people to work farms directly
4) already working in new york right now why not push it further
@Pragu3704@PresidentToguro Ong bro it was 20 years ago for her. If youre unable to move past this obsessive high school fantasy 2 whole ass decades after it happened ur mentally still a child
@lo9406@THEPOKEPLATEAU Yeah ygo being an eternal format with no structured set rotation means konami has to have a pretty aggressive reprint policy for chase / meta relevant cards. Also means as a side stuff like exodia gets printed all the time. The cardboard isnt worth the msrp of the box itself
