@TigersFaithful Richo isn't coming back so get Wayne Bennet here. They're the only two with a Midas NRL touch.
Let the NRL run the club.
Otherwise lean really hard into the drama angle, bite the bullet and make every season docu/reality tv with the game being just one storyline.
@BecharaRob But did the Kiwi refuse to play beacuse he was yold to play lock or was he told he qould be releaaed from the final year of his contract? They're quite different circumstances that have nothing to do with race.
@NBWT__ This reminds me of the Wahs before the new ownership around 2020. Genuinely don't think anything changes for the Tiges until the club changes owners...they've tried everything else. Two loser clubs merged to become the ultimate loser.
@Swampduck04@NBWT__@thebalmainboy I'd say Mario Tartak just wants more money for his player and he wants the club to free up cash for Sam in particular rather than us not having cash.
@TigersFaithful@NBWT__ If our pathways are up to it, that's the direction we should go. I assume with all of these contracts that's where we're going. I'd throw the Bulldogs into that mix of teams too and just hope we don't end up like them.
@NBWT__@TigersFaithful It is great to see the club running like a normal, functioning club for once. Slight reservation I have is the price of these contracts and until we know that I'll be apprehensive. Makasini's seems an overpay for example.
@CastTiger @whafeckde @NBWT__ Settle down. You build a team over time, not an offseason. If we're in the hunt for the 8 you should thank R&R who recruited Mays, resigned Douehi, signed KPP, signed Makasini etc.
@NBWT__ So how do they address it? Recruiting actual fringe/veteran NRL players to replace Mason, Craig, Saukuru's contracts? Put guys like Hope and Sukkar on a NSW Cup contract instead?
@NBWT__@RapidKarnage@WestsTigersLife Interestingly enough 37% of points against us have come in the first 20 minutes of matches this year (34 points total). The points being in our favour yesterday was a nice change.
