This is Maisy, she a K-strategist as dogs have fewer offspring and are cared for attentively giving them a better chance of living longer. This is why we couldn’t get her until she was 8 weeks old, she still needed her mothers care. #franklinapes #apesecology

When I go to the bathroom, I make sure to flush only once (max twice) in order to preserve water and make sure that I am not using unnecessary amounts of water. Did you know that each flush contains 1.5 gallons of water! @franklinlorax #apeswater

My house uses a mound septic tank, meaning instead of our sewage being sent directly into a public cleaning location. It’s manually emptied by a company that brings it to the nearest location. #apeswater @franklinlorax
